and it's the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day.
It's a great time to learn about our planet
and how to take care of it !!!
Forty years after the first Earth Day,
the world is in greater peril than ever.
While climate change is the greatest challenge of our time,
it also presents the greatest opportunity –
an unprecedented opportunity to build a healthy,
prosperous, clean energy economy now and for the future.
The polar ice cap as a whole is shrinking !!
We can at least try !!

Yes, if we all would make an effort, we could save our Mother Earth. Little things like not littering, recycling and composting, hanging clothes to dry instead of using an electric dryer, walking or bicycling or taking public transit to work....There are tons of things we could do!

I've heard that the volcano ash might help obscure the sun and cool the environment> What do you think are the chances of that. Seems to be heating up Iceland.
I totally agree.. With a volcano telling us that we need to live more wisely, it is more urgent than ever for us all to take care of the planet.
