It's like watching Hank go to the vet. He complains and complains saying "NONONONO..You Can't Take Me".. all the time.
I told you it was vet week...you had to go too Kareltje! Glad you're done with your check up. Hopefully you & I won't need another trip to the vet for a year!

We take pills at home, Mom always knew how to take us in. :) She puts the pill into a piece of meat or cheese...
Besides our Daddy gives us injections. :(
But nobody cuts our nails! We sharpen them alone. :)

This brought back memories of when I had a cat, when she was 10 she was diagnosed with diabetes, she needed 2 injections daily, we used to take her in a carrier like yours when we went to our caravan in the country for the week-end or to the vets when she needed blood test. I lost her 10 yrs ago but where I live am not allowed pets so another cat is out of the question.

Oh Kareltje, you poor poor thing - what an ordeal!
We have seen these little kitty cat carriers when we are at the vet.
We are so scared about being at the vet we never really get to say hello.
Now we see they do all these nasty things to cats too - all because we have to stay healthy!!!
Oh we do wish they would just leave us at home - thank goodness you are safely back home.

That was quite an ordeal, wasn't it Kareltje? We are glad everything went well at the vet, and that you have a clean bill of health. :)
It must be vet visiting week! Kareltje, you are such a brave kitty. Mr. Teddy visited the vet today. Had his nails clipped, and a good brushing (Mom has been busy taking care of Dad and didn't brush Teddy as much as she should have). A check for worms (we won't talk about that). !!!!! Teddy and Riley may be getting a little sister ... not sure yet!
Oh poor Kareltje! I hope you are feeling much better after that awful trip. Soon Sassie will be going to the vet as well.
Your mom and dad really take good care of you! We need to get one of those carrier, Twylah likes to come along with us for a ride. Feel better!
Oh, dear Kareltje...you are so brave. I hate going to the vet. My vet is very nice but still it is not fun. I overheard my mom and dad talking about needing to get a toothbrush for me! What next!! Sometimes when I go in the car, I don't go to the vet but to our country house. That is the best!

Oh, poor Kareltje! Roxy had to go to the vet to get her shots and de-wormy pill on Saturday and she was not pleased either. We have a bad feeling that others of us are next... :o We're glad you checked out okay!!

I wanted to let you know that I am an indoor-only kitty but because our balcony is completely secure, I'm allowed to go out there. It's very small though. In our last place, we lived downstairs and only had an open patio, so I wasn't allowed to out. See, we're still the same pretty much. :)
We're sorry you had to go to the v-e-t but we are glad you are healthy. We hope you got lots of treats for having to get a shot Kareltje!
None of us likes to go to the vet either, but we know it is best for us. What is your vet's trick for the pills? Just curious.

How lucky you are Kareltje for having a Mom and Dad who'd take care of you to the Max...they are so conscious of your well-being! You are even more lucky than an ordinary child in a third world country, that even when very sick, could not afford the services of a good physician!

Sweet Kareltje got a check-up! :-) Well, never mind, Kareltje. Two weeks ago I brought Morgana to the vet, too. A thorough check-up. Also got her teeth cleaned. She wasn't very happy. And the vet gave her pills to take!!! She's quite an old lady, so she needs some more help! ;-)
