Wild horses !!! ~ My World ~

Yesterday I was walking
in the protected natural area behind our house.
It is a beautiful nature reserve with wild horses.
The wild horses are "Przewalski’s horses".
I had the chance to take some nice shots....
I see those horses almost every day ;)

It was early in the morning when I started walking.
They are shy for people and often they hide themselves.
We are proud that these horses live in our village.
They are expanding very quickly
and we sell them to other countries :-)

There are now many foals born !!!
I wanted to show you.
Above and below you see foals.
I am far away so the pictures are not sharp.
They protect the little very well.
I can not walk close because then they attack me :(
they are not friendly though they have foals....
Its the nature !!!

Tomorrow March 28th its SUMMERTIME :-)

European Summer Time
is the arrangement in Europe by which clocks are advanced
by one hour in Spring to make the most of seasonal daylight.
In the European Union this period extends
from 01:00 GMT on the last Sunday in March
until 01:00 GMT on the last Sunday in October each year...

That means for us:

~ One hour less sleep :(
~ an hour more daylight
Yeahhhhh.....
We can enjoy from the sun
(when he is shining ;)

Multi-coloured Netherlands :-)

The tulips
has come to be a loved symbol of the Netherlands.
Tulips are bulbflowers,
grown in all kinds of colours, shapes and sizes.
Many tourists visit the country just to see
the bright coloured flower and the astonishing view
over the bulb fields.

The season begins in March with crocuses,
followed by the daffodil.
In April the hyacinths and tulips blosssom
to some time in mid May, depending on the weather.
Later, in August it is time for the gladioli.

For tourists
the tulip is one of the national symbols of "Holland"
(as they call the Netherlands as a whole,
while this is only the NW part of the country).
We are living in the South!!

Even when spring is over, the Netherlands is still a garden,
visitors can enjoy flowers in the Netherlands all year round.

The tulips as landscape is transformed
into a spectacular display of color..
It looks like glorious patchwork!!

What is Yoga ??
Yoga is a very old way of life

One of the basic and important Yoga posture
is the 'Cat Pose' (Bidalasana).
It provides a gentle massage
to the spine and belly organs.
It increases flexibility of spine as it helps
to stretch the middle to upper back and shoulders ....

Begin by placing your hands and knees on a yoga mat

in a tabletop position.

Keep your hands directly below your shoulders

and your knees beneath the hips.

This is your starting positioning .... :-)

As you breathe in, open the chest forward,

let the spine curve go downward.

Lift your head-up slightly .... :-)

Exhale slowly as you start to arch the back upward.

Bend your head inward and relax ....

Try it all :-)
