Wimpie is flying to heaven ....

My oldest daughter Marjolein has two budgies.

Wimpie thats the bleu bird and Pukkie the yellow one.

Our sweetheart "Wimpie" passed away,

he is now in bird heaven :(

We never forget him he was always so sweet for Pukkie.

It was a lovely couple !!

Wimpie we NEVER forget you ....

Pukkie is sad she makes less bird sounds :(

Karel was always curious

if they were staying at our home for a visit :-)

Welcome "Brammetje"

He is the new pet from Marjolein.

Its a little rabbit with very long ears :-)

Bram is a real Dutch boys name it sounds very funny !!

We say Brammetje because he is so little.

She has now one bird and a rabbit

and when she goes on vacation

Brammetje and Pukkie come to visit us :-)

Yeahhhhh....

We can not wait !!!

Sometimes in life,

We are baby birdies living in a tree.
We dream of flying when we take our rest.
Finally one spring day we hop, hop, hop....

And flutter our wings flop, flop, flop.
They lift us up and then we fly.
Flying very high and flying very low.

Then in a big circle, round we go.
Finally we soar home and go to sleep.
We close our eyes without a peep.... ;)

Our new friend "Jerry" the Mouse :)

Special for my new blogreaders:

This is my pride in our garden :)
My favorite bonsai (look-a-like)its a red Japanese Maple !!
He is now 20 years old and I am pruning it every year.
It is like a large umbrella.
(Those white vertical line is one of the beams of our roof.
The tree is situated between the terrace and the garden.)
It looks BEAUTIFUL....




At the bottom from the bonsai we make wooden planks.
We have created a pond there.
And under those planks lives now family mouse.
Last month I was sitting on my terrace and
I was playing with my camera and suddenly I saw "Jerry" the mouse.
He always steals food from the fish.
He does it regularly.
He quickly runs over the large water lily leaves.
I had to shoot very quickly ...... LOL
He is our new friend :)

Kareltje is looking many times.

He can not catch him because he is an indoor cat ;(

He loves it to play with a toy mouse !!

Many blog friends ask me sometimes

how you pronounce the name "Kareltje".

I have make a short video.

Kareltje was not in the mood for a video ;)

My voice sounds a little strange because I have a cold.

But many friends asked many times

and now you can hear how it sounds.

(Its a simple Dutch old boy's name :)

This month we celebrate our blog first anniversary.
Yeahhhh........
I want to thank all those who read our blog,

Many times they ask me what means " Kareltje en ikke "
well its very simple its only in Dutch and it means
" Kareltje ( my Cat ) and me (Anya ) "



Last year we meet many friends from all over the world ....
My English writing has improved (I think or I can say I HOPE ... ;)
I have also lessons in other languages !!

How do you like my name like this:

அன்யா or अन्या it means both Anya :))

Its from one of the many languages of India :))
I love my name like that its so funny curly ....
:)


Now something completely different ....

This morning I needed a walk in the wood.
Its only 10 min. drive with my car from home to the wood.
I wanted to enjoy the autumn :)
I saw beautiful mushrooms.

Unfortunately no gnomes :(

I start every day with a small bowl of food
because I am on a diet :(

and we are visiting all our friends :)



I play regularly with my toys;)

L'aqrarium Barcelona :)

Aquàrium Barcelona is an aquarium located in Barcelona, Catalonia.
For the first time "this year",
L'Aquàrium de Barcelona is putting its extensive collection
of mollusc shells on display to the public.
Some of these shells are considered to be real jewels.

My Mommy's favorite pet is of course "Cats"

but on the second place she loves Penguins ;)

She has enjoyed all Pinquins who walked there,

sometimes she is just a little girl ............ ;)

They are so funny and they remind her to nuns.

My souvenir from Spain is a Pinquin,

and you can see I love it,

I can cuddle the whole day =^.^=

Sorry for our long absence.
I needed one week total rest for my sport injury !!

I feel myself at the moment completely healthy,
my body is all right and I can perform normal daily activities without pain.

The second week
I had make a city trip to "BARCELONA" Spain
from october 17th - 22th :)
It was a surprise from my husband for me and our daughters :)
Its "BEAUTIFUL" there and I have make many photo's. :)

Kareltje was on vacation in his favorite "CatHotel"
He loves it there
(He can play the whole day with other cats ;)
He is at home now and we cuddle all the time :))))))

my husband was taken a photo of me "coffee addict" ;)
It tasted delicious.
This was the first thing I ordered in Barcelona :)

Sports injury :(

I have an injury
and heavy muscle pain
on my back and on my right arm from sports.
I can not long sit behind the computer, no blogging :(
I need rest and that is very hard for me,
I'm always busy busy ..... ;)
But it hurts and I have to rest !!!

After a few days total rest its going better with me.
It is not easy, I struggled with myself to get dressed ;(
I (think) that I just make a VERY wrong move
with fitness training or body pump.
I always sports fanatic and this is the result !!
I think my bones are getting older ...... LOL

I take time to relax with my family
They have a surprise for me :)
I am so curious ....
I can not wait !!!!
and then I'm back end of next week in blogosphere,
I miss you all ......

I'm afraid ....

Kareltje doesn't like thunderstorms
it makes him run and hide.
He is also afraid of fireworks !!
( I am also a little scared for thunderstorms ... ;)
He doesn't like the loud noises.
Cats have all very sensitive ears
and they hear the thunder VERY loud.
He has always the same hiding place and its under the table ...
Where are you all afraid of ....
